Hourly Consulting
Sometimes all you need is a little help. Whether you need a second opinion, some guidance in finding your aesthetic, or assistance in finding a few key pieces, our hourly services may be just the thing for you.
Our consultations cater to individuals who are redesigning their space on their own and need assistance with gaining confidence in their decision-making process. We offer concrete suggestions, support, and tips to help guide their efforts. You have the freedom to utilize the consultation time in the manner that best suits your needs.

Furniture & Styling
This is intended for clients looking to transform their space, large or small, without the need for a renovation. It may include non-structural changes to your space, such as paint, light fixtures, etc.
We provide you with an in-depth consultation to learn about how you use your space, develop a space plan, provide a full selection of furniture and accessories from vintage, trade only, and custom pieces that work in harmony to elevate your space. We then can provide styling/installation to bring the vision to life, along with purchasing and order management.

Interior Design
We specialize in home renovation and provide full-service interior design. Our personalized process will guide you through all phases of the project, putting the client at ease. We work in collaboration with your chosen builder & team, to provide you with a feasible design for your home that reflects both your personal style and the Manda Roy Design aesthetic.
Design Process

This initial consultation is an opportunity to get acquainted, discuss the scope of work in greater depth, and address any questions or concerns you may have.
After this, we'll provide you with a proposal and quote for your project scope. Once you've signed the service agreement and paid the deposit, we'll set the project start date and begin designing!
Design Programming
Our design process begins with your everyday life. Your home should be a reflection of you and your family. We’ll ask you to complete a thorough questionnaire and gather inspiration to help us get familiar with your style, ways of living, budget, and functional requirements, along with a list of any items you are keeping and would like incorporated into the design.
We may require a walkthrough of your space to take detailed measurements, and capture reference photos as necessary.
Note: For E-Design clients, you'll be required to send measurements and photos of your space (don’t worry—we will guide you through it!).

The design conceptualization can now begin!
In this phase, we take all the information gathered during our discovery and programming stage and bring it to life through concept boards, initial floor plans, and create an overall creative direction. This phase is equal parts technical and creative as we diverge & explore possible solutions for your space.
Once our best ideas are put forward, the concepts you feel are strongest are then chosen and revised based on your feedback, ensuring you are confident and delighted heading into the next phase.

The Schematic Design phase starts with rough study drawings that illustrate the basic concepts of the design. This most often includes spatial relationships as well as basic scale and forms the owner might desire. Also, initial research of jurisdictional regulations is completed at this time. Initial cost estimations are also investigated based on total project size and complicity.
In the Schematic Design Phase we will produce rough drawings of a site plan, floor plans, elevations and often illustrative sketches or computer renderings as needed to be aligned moving into the Design Development phase.

Once we’ve settled on the concept, we begin to refine the design details, explore the feasibility, and bring the concept to life.
During this stage, you will be presented with material samples, design drawings, and visualizations of your new space. We will source all of the fixtures, materials, furniture, and decor needed to create a cohesive design and you will have the opportunity to approve each selection at the revision rounds.
We consistently ensure each element works holistically and take care that the end result of our selections aligns with our foundational vision.

It’s time to prepare all of the necessary documents and technical information into a completed design package. At this stage, the completed design package is handed off to you for implementation. We will support your GC with design questions if needed, based on our project management fee. For clients who require Purchasing & Order Management, we prepare a purchase form, obtain credit card authorization, and a final sign-off from you to order items on your behalf.
To ensure you feel supported throughout the entire process, we also do a final walkthrough after all your furniture has been delivered and assembled, to ensure everything is styled and executed perfectly in your space. Should you be interested in a full install and reveal, just let us know!
E-Design Service
All of our packages are available as remote design options (virtual design, e-design) for those beyond our service area. This allows for flexible communication with the same bespoke process as our in-person clients, just from a distance, but does require a bit more hands on approach from the client such as providing measurements and updates along the ways
Purchasing + Ordering Logistics
You can add-on product purchasing and ordering services for any of our packages. This includes access to trade-only vendors, select discounted pricing, purchasing, order management, delivery coordination, and continued support throughout the tedious ordering and delivery process.
